We come as a collective to join in moments of JOYFUL COMMUNITY unified by running 🏃🏼♂️
It is so special capturing the energy that Winnipeg Run Club encompasses. Truly grateful to celebrate each and every amazing person that gets up early on a Saturday morning to run and celebrate this community.

Proud of these two 🙌🏻
I have heard a number of people say to me “I would love to do a triathlon, but the swimming, I just can’t do it.”
Swimming CAN BE LEARNED. You can overcome fears and take on amazing challenges with the right attitude.
Joseph has improved immensely from the first time i saw him swim, to doing open water and pushing through his fears. It’s beautiful to see.
Pam literally JUMPED in. She has an open mind and pushes her limits. I am very excited to see her grow as a swimmer. Because she said it best “this shit is hard.”
Keep being awesome gang!!

We Came, We Saw, We kicked its Ass.
Such an amazing weekend filled with challenges, flat tires, cheers, cute dogs and amazing friends. I am so proud of everyone in this amazing community.
Shauna back after 12 years and two kids! Amazing
Jeremy finishing 2nd in the Olympic distance
Oleh slamming his first ever Olympic distance
Joseph completing his second sprint distance
Evan flatting out and Dnfing 😣😣
If ive learned anything in life it’s that things happen and you are in control of how it affects you. I am 100% disappointed about my flat tires today. But I was able to pick my head up and enjoy watching my friends do amazing things!
Thanks to our amazing cheer squad!!

228km / 141 miles in June
10th event to raise awareness and funds for youth mental health. Mindful Movement for Mental Health, formerly known as Trash Stigma.
I ran 77.5km in 14 hours yesterday. This is the final instalment.
I have ran at least 800kms cumulatively on the Friday after Father’s Day since 2015. I didn’t know how many people would be positively affected by running up and down an unshaded hill park. It use to be an industrial garbage dump.
I’ve come to realize that the act of running is not the point of this.
The point is we are all enduring something or know someone who is. This is the connection we have to this event.
At any given time, for many of us. Life just really sucks. This feeling could last minutes, days , weeks or years.
A feeling of hopelessness , low self worth and loneliness.
My hope is, after all of my efforts. At least one person can be inspired to help another person and so on and so on.
My ask is, have empathy for others and a willing to give service to what or who you feel needs a little help.
Yesterday was a good day to have a good day.
Thank you everyone that supported my efforts and donating to my cause.

Ride or Dies!!
Connecting with this amazing group has aloud me to enjoy hobbies that I have grown to love. Riding is the best, it gets you into nature, it is so good for your knees and allows you to explore your city!! I truly love these people and I am so happy we get to ride together.

Mindful Movement
There are beautiful people on this planet. Junel is one of those people. Today he is running up and down Westly Park hill in support of Canadian Mental Health Association to raise awareness and support youth mental health. This is such a beautiful cause and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to join him this morning.
Please do me the biggest favour and follow @jmalapad and if you are so inclined, make a donation via his page.
Thank you for being amazing 🥰
