This time Modus curator Lucky Done Gone goes B2B with the Rotterdam based icon Benny Rodrigues. Taking you on a versatile B2B set with hypnotic grooves and deep drums. Tera Kòrá hosts the second installment of his clubnight Kòrá: A Fusion of Caribbean and African Diaspora Sounds. With Brazil’s Pantera, fellow Curaçaoan collective Kurashi Soundsystem, local hero Tida Kamara, and Tera Kòrá himself.

Bixaria is back again after their dazzling edition last year for another night focused on queer Brazilian club culture. Baile Funk, Brega Funk, Brazilian House, Dembow, and more provided by DJ Mundo, DJ ANDRAS, DJ DAZLBØY, DJ Pyraña, Mother Lucía, and Lx Gitana Boss.

Showcasing Afro-electronic sounds and rhythms from around the world, NYC-based DESCENDANTS returns to Parallel for a special summer edition on July 13th.
This edition features the award-nominated South African dance music duo Kususa, known for their dark and edgy Afro-Tech/House sound. Also performing is Nairobi-based Coco Em, whose music spans Afro House, Kuduro, Lingala, Hip-Hop, and more. Joining them are Sky White from Mozambique, DESCENDANTS founder Meedy from New York, and local hero Inkedrebelle.

Born and raised in Jardim Robru, a neighborhood in far east São Paulo, Marvin, also known as DAZLBØY, grew up immersed in the local Baile Funk scene. DAZLBØY will bring authentic Baile Funk to the stage of BIXARIA, blending São Paulo’s rhythmic funk styles like Ritmado, Automotivo, and Bruxaria with Rio de Janeiro funk, promising an engaging mix that gets everyone twerking till the floor shakes.

An artist at the cutting edge of the Mexican electronic music scene, DJ Fucci is known for playful, percussive tracks that blend traditional samples, breakbeats, and ravey basslines. Parallel will be one of his first club debuts in Europe. Also joining the bill is Rotterdam’s Sukubratz, specializing in swaying Latin-infused rhythms and rugged club beats that effortlessly oscillate between dark and playful.
