We are cracking down on car club crime with Operation Hot Wheels. On Saturday, June 29th, we conducted Operation Hot Wheels to tackle the criminal activity of car clubs and ensure the safety of our community on the roads. Here are the results: 👉Traffic Stops: 160 👉Citations: 149 👉Written Warnings: 60 👉Criminal Traffic Citations: 17 👉Vehicles Towed (30-day hold): 5 👉Arrests: 10 Together, we’re making our roads safer for everyone. #OperationHotWheels #PBSO #PalmBeachCounty

Today, our PBSO Mentoring Program took 80 kids to the @bigdogranchrescue for a full day of activities. Kids learned how to take care of dogs by grooming, walking, washing, feeding, and training them. Towards the end, they had a surprised visit from Sheriff @ricbradshawsheriff . Big Dog Ranch Rescue has saved more than 70,000 lives as the largest no-kill rescue in the United States. Get the Name: Ask for the company’s name and say you’ll call back. 2. Verify Independently: Look up the company online, check reviews, and call them directly using the number you find, not the one provided. 3. Visit in Person: Florida law requires bail bond companies to have a physical office. Visit to verify legitimacy. Beware of payment requests through mobile apps – legitimate services usually accept traditional forms of payment. Stay vigilant, verify requests, and spread the word to help others avoid these scams. Congratulations to Deputy Hung Nguyen, our April 2024 Deputy Sheriff of the Month! Deputy Nguyen’s determination was crucial in a recent hit-and-run investigation. After a vehicle struck and killed a scooter rider and fled the scene, D/S Nguyen tirelessly searched the area for hours. He located the suspect vehicle, notified VHI investigators, and assisted in gathering additional evidence and surveillance footage. His relentless efforts led to the identification of the driver and the recovery of critical evidence. We applaud Deputy Nguyen for his commitment to justice. 👏🚓 #PBSOproud
