Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 210g Sugar
- 60g Butter
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 37g Flour
- 15g Cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 60g Walnuts, chopped
-Method
1. Beat the eggs and sugar until they are creamy
2. Add in melted butter and vanilla extract and whisk until well incorporated
3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and fold until the batter comes together
4. Transfer to a 7-inch square tin and bake at 165 °C for 45-50 minutes
5. Cut into squares and enjoy!
I don’t know how I forgot to post this picture, it was taken around a year ago. But I think I was meant to post it on the day of a new beginning for me. My start of the journey at School for European Pastry, is my first step towards my career and this picture showed up in my highlights. So I’m posting my idols as a good luck to this journey and hopefully one day, I can become some young chefs post too❤️.
