On this day in 1984, Prince released his record-breaking sixth studio album Purple Rain. To mark the 40th anniversary, Prince’s 2015 @officialpaisleypark Remaster is now available via NPG Records on 140g Purple Splatter vinyl. This special limited edition of the LP includes a mirrorboard sleeve, in addition to the original inner sleeve and poster. This exclusive pressing will be available only through the Prince Store and Minneapolis’s own Electric Fetus record store. Pre-orders start today, and the product will be ready by August 9th, 2024! Day 4 of #PRINCECELEBRATION2024 was held at @officialpaisleypark , and started with a discussion with @tajfarrant , as well as great performances from @darnelldavismusic & Remnant, and Collide Worship. Dr. Susan Rogers spoke, engaged in a fan Q&A, and there were additional performances by School Of Rock Eden Prairie, @tajfarrant , @bertorich , and Nic Church. Today we started the day at Lake Minnetonka and will end at Paisley Park for more live music!
