This year marks a decade since the release of my debut album. I feel so incredibly lucky to be celebrating this milestone with you. My team and I have created this beautiful anniversary edition for us all, and for the last 10 years.
Today is only the beginning Sailors, we have so much to celebrate with you between now and August. I can’t wait to look back on ‘In The Lonely Hour’ together.

LEAVE YOUR LOVER
This is the first song I wrote with my dear friend Simon Aldred. Sitting in his living room in Manchester we birthed beautiful music but more importantly, we started such a special friendship in my life. This song means the world to me and I still think back to running around Paris drinking champagne, making the music video to this song. I think it captured the energy of the song so well.

It was amazing to work with @stephaniesiansmith once again, the photographer who shot the original album cover for ‘In The Lonely Hour’.
We wanted to recreate the simplicity and magic of the original shot in a way that still feels authentic to who I am now, as an artist and as a person. I love how this came out. x

LIKE I CAN
This may sound like a simple pop song, but the heart and weight is giant to me. Throughout this album process I had been spilling my heart all over the music and it was so nice to create something that felt a little more defiant and self assured.
