3WD RECORDINGS 001 - SITTING SOFT

So happy to share 3WD Recordings’ debut release, featuring 15 tracks from 14 artists who have performed at 3WD / have made 3WD 💕 Really amazed at how good all the music is - and hopefully you’ll agree they all sit together like a little dream. It’s been designed to be listened to in one take, so give it a go. All the thanks to the artists!!
The compilation is available for you to BUY digitally on Bandcamp. There is also a limited number of CDs which feature a lightly mixed, continuous version of all the tracks, with sound recordings submitted by people who have attended 3WD used to splice the tracks together. The CD also includes an A4 Riso-print with a poem by Will on it (slide 3). Also special love and thanks to the ever generous @thenarrator_______ for providing the lovely words/poem/piece which you can see on the back of the CD - and hear on the first slide of this post 🎧

This release tries to capture some specific sounds that have been brewing at 3WD / in London / all over since about 2018 - at some point @tomb.zzz is gonna try and write some more on this… but the important part is that this will be the first of many releases from 3WD Recordings. Another compilation that tries to cover some of the other sounds present at 3WD is on the horizon. Producers, get in touch :)

Final dance before the festival is next weekend! Saturday 8th June we’re back at our favourite @spanners.club for one last get together before the festival. Happy to be joined by our favs @de.sausmarez and @rhtypus for an evening of extreme feels 💕 There will also be a couple of cheap festi tickets, a 3WD video game, a special guest, and tissues for those of us in tears at missing @youarethestream all timer of a line-up on the same night.
Festival line-up will be out before then 😮 Details of the very first 3WD Compilation will be out by then too 😮
