🌈 An introduction to Minnie, Part 3 🌈
💖 Now Minnie drew art for the entire generation of Eurovision 2023, which they all liked a lot. Since she was little, she liked to draw people in a cartoonish style, and thanks to art classes and many hours spent with a pencil and a paper, it all paid off. She managed to do all that in addition to her school- and college obligations, and she hopes to end her bachelor studies of German language and literature on time, so that she can continue with her master studies in Austria. Because, as much as she loves her home country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the current events did not convince her that it has her best interests at heart. Who knows where her journey will take her next-maybe to Germany, where her friends from the non-profit organisation @andersgleichanders are located, or rather to her other friends, who are located all over the world, and looking forward to finally meeting her in person. Until then, Minnie will keep on working hard at college, and at the same time, she'll support her favourite artists, perform in drag, sing, play the violin and draw nice artworks for her loved ones, never losing the passion in her life. 💖
🌈 An introduction to Minnie, Part 2 🌈
💖 The same thing happened when Minnie discovered the hit TV show "The Simpsons" and looked into every tiny detail about the show, especially the characters. At twelve years old, she perfectly knew which characters loved and hated each other. Seven years later, it paid off once she got to write her high school Dissertation paper for English class on The Simpsons. Next to her countless singing and drag performances (which her school surprisingly allowed for carnival days), this paper was her legacy, which she's still known for to this day. In words of her English professor, it was written very professionally, studiously, as if it were almost a Master Thesis, to which the professor's colleagues agreed. On the other hand, were it not for the huge influence of music in her life, then it surely wouldn't have taken her in the direction she is on now. It was proven to be right during the last twenty years of her life, because these were the years in which she followed Eurovision Song Contest, discovered her favourite music and made friendships, which are still standing strong today and getting stronger every day. She was even invited to one of the most famous singing competitions in the Balkans and praised for her passion by the competition directors. So far, all of this sounds exciting, but only when Minnie started drawing again, that was when nothing and nobody could truly stop her... 💖

🌈 An introduction to Minnie, Part 1 🌈
💖 22 years ago, in a big Balkan city in central Bosnia, at around twenty-five to eleven am, a baby was born. But, it was no ordinary baby-it was a future artist, musician, writer and drag queen, who'll bring a little bit of positivity in her community through her love of writing, reading and performing. In her life, she's gone by many names, but in the last six years, many have called her and known her as Minnie. Even back when she was still a child, Minnie wasn't even aware of all the opportunities she was going to get and what skills she was going to gain. Back then, all that was important to her was playing with her stuffed animals, having delicious ice cream and fruit by her side and trying to read a passage from her favourite children's books to the stuffed animals. At that time, a certain newspaper in her city started a reading project, which was meant to give readers a chance to receive a new book from the local and world literature with every issue. Since little Minnie could neither read properly, nor understand the complicated themes from the books, she mostly used them to build houses and castles instead. But one day, when she grows older, she'll not only use these books as her school and college reading materials, but also as inspiration for her Art of Drag. "The Secret of the Rapsberry Jam", a certain book from the collection, was to "blame", a book which she'll learn to understand at age twenty. At that same age, she'll discover the wonders of the Art of Drag and fully understand its' impact on the present day art scene. Some didn't understand it, the others even made fun of it, but that didn't bother Minnie at all. Minnie always did only what she wanted, and once she was convinced she liked something, nobody could convince her otherwise. That's how she began learning to sing and play the violin, both of which were a huge part of her formative years, giving her the most beautiful memoties possible... 💖 (To be continued in Part 2)

💖😺 My winner of Eurovision 2024. is none other than the king himself-Baby Lasagna, with the song "Rim Tim Tagi Dim". I chose him, because his performance indeed changed the way we see Croatia at Eurovision Song Contest. It followed into Käärijä and Rammstein's footsteps by giving the world an iconic song with a fun novelty, which is both catchy and relatable for all the Eurofans around the world. I mean, did you all see how everyone sung along and danced with him? In my 22 years of following Eurovision, I've never seen anything so epic on the Big stage. Just a few months ago, he didn't even think he was going to be chosen to compete in Dora at all, yet the whole world knows now about "Rim Tim Tagi Dim", says "Meow cat, please meow back" and does the RTTG dance. Even though I absolutely think Baby Lasagna should've won after all what he's given to the Eurovision family, I am more than pleased with his second place win, and being first in the televote. Congratulations to Baby Lasagna for all his successes and a clean sweep this competition season with the awards, and I wish him the best of luck in his future career, as well as that he follows in Let 3's footsteps of opening Baščaršijske Noći this year. 🥺 No one will be happier than me if he gets chosen, so, fingers crossed. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 😺💖

🖤✨️When I first joined the DGTingerz Discord group (with Theodor Andrei), little did I know how much joy and happiness were about to come into my life. Not only did I get to meet some lovely people whom I'm happy to call my friends, but I also got to know Theodor a little better. In the last few months I've been a DGTinger, I got to see through Instagram liveshows and conversations how wonderful and talented he really is-a lot more than what was shown on the Big Stage at Eurovision last year. And this year, we saw how Haleigh Bear, one of the leading ladies of the DGTingerz Fandom, took particular notice of it before anyone else, writing one of the sweetest songs I've heard-"The One Who Saved Me". She sung about how happy she is that Theodor made her 2023, supporting her and lifting her up through difficult times. I agree with every single word that she sung in her song, especially after the amazing first half of 2024 I've had with Theodor in it. Him and Haleigh made my first ever experience of living and studying far away from home unforgettable, and after the disappointments I've experienced with certain people in my life, he reminded me every day how there are still supportive and positive people out there in the world by always being present for me in both happy and sad moments. (I still keep the note Theodor wrote for me after one of these situations happened. 🥺) That's why I chose to show them my appreciation for all that they're done by playing the song on piano. I'm over the moon proud to say this is the first piano piece I've learned full out. 💖 Every time I play it, a thousand memories of my times with Theodor flash by, and all else around me disappears-it's just me, the piano and the memories and emotions we shared, and will keep on sharing. ✨️🖤

🎵✨️ And last, but not least, we got to wrap up the special singing liveshow with the song that got us all together on that beautiful day-"Fantoma". We were all out of our minds excited to hang out together and listen to Theodor's new song. It was a deep, intense emotional experience wrapped up in a modern, vintage fairytale from start to finish, especially in the final scene. I don't even know which one of us DGTingerz cried harder-it just made us realise how lucky we are to have Theodor in our lives, and never to take the moments we spend together in our group for granted. That's a lesson I had to learn the hard way in December 2022 😔. Since then, I've never held back when it came to appreciating the ones that I love. Such moments we share are special, and I make the most out of every single one, because once they're gone, they're gone. Now, after May 6th, we all have a core memory we'll hold on to forever, and now that I finally got to uploading all the videos, there is a brand new one I'm going to share with all of you in a few minutes from now. It always makes me happy to see more and more people support him, and it makes me even happier that I played a small part in bringing his music closer to them. 🎵✨️ The penultimate song of the night was "Fire in My Heart", the entry Theodor sent for Seleçtia Nationala 2022, which means he was one entry closer to being chosen for Eurovision. When I heard this song, I could really feel his joy and passion for it-it's really a shame he didn't get selected. If you ask me, he would have made it to the finals, maybe even to Eurovision. I mean, just listen to how how he sings the chorus-that was absolutely perfect, I could just listen to it on a loop forever. That's why I just don't get how he wasn't selected at least for Seleçtia Nationala with a song as amazing as this. 🥺💖✨️🎵
