@umanesimo.artificiale at Fano, Italy, from Friday, July 19th to Sunday, July 21st! This event invites talented artists and engineers to explore the cutting-edge intersection of artificial intelligence and robotics. Participants will develop innovative hardware + AI systems capable of interpreting various inputs (such as environmental information, weather data, dreams, traumas, etc) and transforming them into creative robotic movements.
The winning team will be entitled to a residency/internship within YayaLabs in order to integrate their project into Desdemona, our advanced digital and physical robotic platform, showcasing the potential of AI as a powerful interpreter that expands our understanding of the world.
Requirements for Participation:
1. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Unix Terminal (Bash), as well as familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Arduino, 3D printing technology, Blender, and a general creative technologist perspective.
2. New Media, Digital Design, UX Design and artistic background are a must.
3. Interest in AI and Robotics: A strong passion for artificial intelligence and robotics, with a keen interest in developing innovative solutions.
4. Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically, tackling complex problems with innovative approaches.
5. Prior Experience: Previous experience with AI, machine learning, robotics, New Media, or related fields is highly desirable.
6. Availability: Commitment to participating fully throughout the duration of the hackathon, including pre-event and post-event evaluations.
