ᴅᴀɴs ʟᴀ ᴘᴇᴀᴜ ᴅᴇs ᴀʀʙʀᴇs is an ongoing project carried out over the past years, in collaboration with @xdartayre Ix Dartayre, my friend and photographer. I knitted a series of interactive pieces of bark I called ᴇ́ᴄᴏʀᴄᴇ́•ᴇ — those textured-looking moults, are nailed onto walls to paraphrase the beauty of the tree’s barks as individual’s skins. Nous avons conçu ces pièces textiles d’écorcé·e, des « mues d’arbres » aux textures organiques. Pour moi c’est une manière de paraphraser la beauté des arbres et les messages laissés par des inconnu•es sur leurs écorces.

This dress from the serie « 𝑙𝑎 𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑢 𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑟𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑠 », translated in English as « The skin of trees » is a wearable and tangible textile. some 2021 backstage pictures 🫰 I don’t share so much knitting details and macro..!! Weird now I am thinking :) I enjoy seeing textures, textiles that has organic shapes that curls, yarns entangling to create a perfect structure….🪢🎀 So yes today out of nowhere I felt to share my 3 years ago knits while I had access to a industrial knitting machine ❤️‍🔥 tell me if you want more 🫢 #le bon temps 🥰

Knitstiches !!! Lately I’ve been playing with spacerknit programmation, colors and with yarns, making it crazy puffy-organic-textured as I like to experiment, here some footage 🤲🪢💓

The TextielLab is part of the @textielmuseum , it is a really busy workspace — we can meet artistes, makers, technicians, products developers, students and visitors. In my spare time, I had the opportunity to develop some knitting researches, can’t wait to show you more! 🌀🧶🪢

During theses last 4months, I had the chance to be intern in the @textielmuseum 🪸an incredible workspace #TextielLab where a knit-nerd like me can flourish among programming, mechanical, technical, knit historical knowledges 🌀thank you again the whole team for sharing 😇 @sarenahuizinga @yanic_ @semodaknitwear @vandenbusschemathilde @zuzana_sevcikova_studio and so more!! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 heyall ! hope you enjoy the spring 🐝 i believe i will always do my best while ALSO letting me the time to take care of my mental health 💚 i just wanted to share few words and that picture a friend of me took last year, i feel it represent me in this moment ~~ adapting to this world that has been given to all of us. i am very grateful to be a young designer and to be part of this interesting period we are all involved. & i trust we all trying to do our bests. i won’t hide that i’ve been tough periods lately. also the status from the young graduate status let me think for example ~~~ how as young thinkers of this decade we have to change this society ? is it the world we want ? ~~~ it is a transitioning period ~ for me, for sure ~ but also for all of us, even the ones who don’t believe anymore in hope! we keep evolving in a togetherness 🐾 thank you dear @xavierdartayre 📸🌪🌱
