I’M WITH PULP, ARE YOU? Mark Webber’s visual history of Pulp is now available to preorder ! [link in bio] Before joining his favourite band, Mark was a teenage fan who began to help out with Pulp’s stage sets and light shows in the late 1980s, then he became the group's first tour manager and ran the Pulp People fan club. After a few years playing extra guitar and keyboards at Pulp concerts, he was invited to become a member of the band in 1995. “I’m With Pulp, Are You?” is a lavishly illustrated book that presents Mark’s unique collection of Pulp ephemera, together with anecdotes that chronicle a history of the band told from the inside. It features photographs, flyers, record covers, setlists, stickers, posters, press clippings, merchandise and masses of promotional material, plus a foreword by @jarvisbransoncocker and newly commissioned essays by music writers Simon Reynolds and Luke Turner. “I’m With Pulp, Are You?” will be published by @hatandbeardpress in September 2024. Primavera Sound was the first proper show of Pulp’s 2011 tour & we can’t lie, we were very, very nervous … but it was great. Spectacular, even. We needn’t have worried. It was at this concert that @nat_urazmetova took the amazing photo of Jarvis in mid-air, and it’s one of the few to include all six of us. Now we’re excited to be returning to @primavera_sound for our first big festival show of 2024. We always have a good time in beautiful Barcelona, plus this year we get to play in Porto the following week ! Pulp are coming back to Italy ! Pulp concerts in Italy have been few and far between, so we are looking forward to visiting beautiful Puglia to play for Medimex 2024 at the Rotonda del Lungomare in Taranto. Pulp are ecstatic to be announcing an extra show for our North American Tour. After our two nights in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium sold out so quickly, we are adding extra date which will take place at one of the city’s most unique landmarks. Pulp will present an enchanted evening of entertainment at the iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery, @hwdforever the final resting place of the stars, on Saturday 21 September 2024, with support from @escape_ism_official .
