Reunion weekend is starting today here at
@williamscollege , and have we got a treat for you (looking especially at you, ’14 and ’19-ers!).
Ten years ago, in 2014, we launched our WALLS (Williams Art Loan for Living Spaces) program that put amazing artwork in the dorms of students twice a year. We are delighted to welcome back our 2014 grad first-ever borrowers and our 2019 alum who got four full years of WALLS as we celebrate 10 years of the program.
So what’s the celebration? Stop on over to WCMA today through Sunday, 10-5, to see an amazing exhibition of all 125 WALLS artwork, program materials, student journals, and more, curated by 2024 grad Imogen Mandl-Ciolek with assistance from Rachel Heisler, WCMA’s Associate Curator of Campus and Community Engagement. Staff will be in the galleries all four days to talk to visitors about this unique and popular program! And on Saturday from 1-3, even more staff will be around to chat throughout the museum as we host an open house to showcase not just the WALLS exhibition but our new building plans and all of the other exhibitions currently on view, too!
So see you at the museum 😊
