On May 26, we hosted the first Chroma dinner at NOR Eindhoven. We served 3 courses that originated from different Asian cuisines (Thai, Chinese and Indian). Our guests were invited to taste and play with different colorful ingredients, oils and flavors. Most importantly, we were able to donate the proceeds to Gaza families and emergency funds on GoFundMe. Thank you guests for showing support and eating with a purpose! 🇵🇸

Congratulations to Maestro Duncan Ward and the South Netherlands Philharmonic on their stunning concert last night! 💐🤩❤️Their performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 was truly magical, and Tan Dun’s Pipa Concerto also was great! 💐❤️🙏The audience’s enthusiasm surpassed even that of the previous night, and we received many standing ovations and curtain calls. I returned to perform an encore of one of my own compositions for a second straight night.🙏😊 This morning at the train station, people recognized me and came to thank and congratulate me. This is my third time performing in the Netherlands. The first two times were in Amsterdam, where I spent less than 48 hours and less than 24 hours respectively. This time, I had the opportunity to spend a full five days there and experienced the enthusiasm and style of the Dutch. What surprised me the most was that our Carleton Chinese Music Ensemble Guzheng player, who graduated 12 years ago, took a train to come see us, bringing sweet gifts and a touching ‘Thank You’ card. I was so touched.🙏❤️ After the performance, he treated us to authentic Dutch night food. What a wonderful time in Eindhoven! ❤️💐Thank you so much again for inviting me to be part of this fantastic organization! When you support ‘T’ Space, you empower the growth of prolific emerging architects and designers that will shape the future of the built environment. This year, ‘T’ Space had the pleasure of hosting Rasika Badave, Yasmine El Alaoui, Isabelle Rose, YP Yuanpu Wang and Michael K. Yirenkyi for the 2024 Residency Program exploring the subject of “Light + Polychromy” in architecture.
Each year, ‘T’ Space residents reinvigorate the Hudson Valley’s acclaimed community art organizations and neighboring institutions during in-person site visits, and spend time here at the Archive and Reserve. On their last night in Rhinebeck, residents celebrate their progress and completion of the intensive program with a certificate ceremony.
