This Friday, @daisyandthedeadheads release their sophomore EP ‘Butter Wouldn’t Melt’ Pinching the raw grooves of ESG and the naked energy of Moldy Peaches, Daisy & The Deadheads are a four-piece folk-wonk-pop band straddling the serpentine slop of the Thames as they ride it into tomorrow. They’ll capture your heart before ringing it out as wretched guitars rise from butter wouldn’t melt. Fronted by stone-faced vocalist Daisy, the band’s performances are a blend of awkward charm and lo-fi gristle.
