Belize Recap Day 3: Again I started the day with a delicious breakfast with my sister queens and family. Then we headed to the walked outside to the port to catch our boats to go snorkeling (see snorkeling post)! We had so much fun snorkeling. We went to an island with a little shore to practice snorkeling before heading out to the big ocean. Once we mastered our skills, then it was snorkeling time! After our first round of snorkeling we went to another island where we relaxed and had some lunch. I totally enjoyed the hammocks! Next we did our second round of snorkeling. After all that fun, we changed and had a beautiful dinner together. We all looked so cute so of course we took photos! Thank you Naia, @ijminternationalmiss , for the fabulous photos - you’re the best!

So honored to be able to participate in the “Make Space in Your Case” Service Initiative while in Belize. Through this initiative I was able to travel and make a difference by making space in my suitcase (a couple of pounds) to donate school supplies to students in Belize.
Belize has an excellent school system with extraordinarily dedicated teachers, but the reality is many families, especially in more remote communities, cannot afford to provide their children with basic school supplies. I was able to dedicate one of my carry-on bag allowances to this amazing cause! So, I was able to provide one book bag full of K-8th grade storybooks in English donated from families throughout my community. I was also able to donate a book bag full of school supplies from construction paper to glue sticks! I was also very grateful to have the chance to visit one of the local schools with my sister queens.

Day 2 Belize Recap: I started the day with a delicious breakfast with my sister queens and family. Then we gathered our donations for the “Make Space in Your Case” Initiative! After visiting the school and dropping off our donations, it was swim time! We all looked so cute so of course we took photos! Then Naia, @ijminternationalmiss , gave us a quick paddle boarding lesson! The rain didn’t stop our fun in the sun! Later, I made bracelets with Xiluva, @ijminternationalteen_ , it was awesome and the bracelets looked so beautiful! I ended the day with my sister queens with a private dinner with Chef Rob!
