Symphony of Circuit and Soil
2023
Parabolic void in rammed earth, with interactive audio.
Our AI-generated audio artwork was awarded a residency in the 2023 "SFER IK Award: Art in Nature". Thank you to the jury, my collaborators, and
@SFERIK.art museum for this invitation to co-create with nature.
Symphony of Circuit and Soil is an interactive soundscape sculpture that uses artificial intelligence, natural materials, and native animal sounds to stimulate our relationship with nature. In collaboration with
@alex.finnemore and Graeme Revell, we bring together expertise in the natural sciences, conceptual and visual arts, and experimental music composition. We plan to develop these themes, integrate natural processes with technology, and contribute to our ancestral future.
We acknowledge the original custodians of the land, animals and plants, with recognition to the indigenous peoples of the Yucatán. This recognition fuels our commitment to exploring the convergence of humanity, technology, and the natural environment, opening new avenues for artistic expression and ecological awareness.
Thank you
@sferik.art for supporting this vital intersection and for being a part of this evolving narrative. We look forward to creating meaningful work during our residency
@azulik and reimagining institutional art spaces.
Thank you
