Tomorrow Wednesday 3rd July we're excited to present one of the greatest UK Alto saxophonists Geoff Simkins at Basketmakers jazz night with Terry Seabrook Piano and me Double bass.
Geoff's is a truly original player, always full of incredible melodic and rhythmic ideas whilst strongly based in the language of jazz.
Music starts at 8pm so get down and grab a seat ( always worth booking a table on the 'jazz side') and enjoy the unique cosy atmospheric of the Baskets.

The Basketmakers jazz sessions continue this Wednesdday 19th June with the excellent pianist Al Scott with Joe Edwards and myself on drums and Double Bass respectively. We'll be playing an eclectic set of contemporary compositions from amongst others Kenny Wheeler, Bill Evans and some originals.
