Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1915, Herrera’s striking geometric paintings and sculptures have left an indelible mark on the art world. Her dedication to her craft is a testament to the power of perseverance, as she gained significant recognition later in life. Herrera’s work is celebrated for its vibrant color, precise lines, and minimalist style.

PAMM hosted Pride Night yesterday, joined by the fabulous @tiffanyfantasia , @athenadion , @thejuicylove , @karlacroqueta , @katwilderness , and @kingfemme alongside the sounds of @djhottpants and @djangelboi .
Inside the galleries, guests explored the opening night of “Xican-a.o.x. Body,” highlighting many queer artists who foreground the body as a site of political agency and imagination, artistic investigation, decolonization, and alternative forms of community.
