Few weeks ago I had the honor to play at the mighty Dommune in Shibuya, Tokyo! For me it was super special because I used to watch here many of my all time favorite djs playing, even before the streaming trend. I am so excited to share with you the “return” of my main label Falling Ethics and some related thoughts. I stoped releasing records on FE when the pandemic started back in 2019. But today, almost four years later of the last release, and after many things that happened this year, FEX018 is ready. This record is dedicated to a very special person who unfortunately left us recently but who will always be in my heart: Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant, miss you a lot amigo. Xx

After his magnificent debut album ‘Trust Me’ from last year, Xupid once more delivers four explosive dancefloor weapons in his own remarkable style. Working on a high pace he works his way from percussive bass stepper ‘Fractal Keel’ via the playful hard groovers ‘Hexing Hour’ and ‘Planet Creep’ to a more subtle dub house affair ‘Direct Dub’. In the middle of all this, label curator P.E.A.R.L. steps up to rework ‘Fractal Keel’ where he flawlessly elaborates the broken tip of the original into an exciting no-nonsense off beat techno jam.
