The Kensington Cuban Chain Wedding Band
Inspired by the Kensington Gold mine that sprung up in icy Alaska in 1897, Rockford’s designer Aleksander Chuly combined the strength the Cuban link motif with the elegance of a solid gold body to represent the duality of grit and grace - both necessary if you wanted to survive the Alaskan Gold Rush.
Crafted for fearless, bold, and passionate. Available with or without natural, conflict free diamonds. Tap to view all 4 variations of the Kensington ring.

In rural Arizona lies an old mining town named La Paz, which translates to the "The Peace" in Spanish. But similar to most mining towns in the 1800's, La Paz was anything but peaceful. The town of La Paz grew nearly overnight- shortly after gold was reported in the local Colorado river the population of La Paz sprung from 40 men to 1,500.
With gold strikes being announced daily, the desire for gold quickly outweighed the sanctity of life. Shootouts, looting, and discrimination ran rife in the small town of La Paz. A cultural melting pot, it took a strong group of daring and open-hearted leaders to keep the town from falling to disarray. In the spirit of these noble leaders, we created the LA PAZ ring which has since expanded to bracelets, stud earrings, and pendants.
