Since the time I booked my tickets to NYC for a work trip, I have been trying to get a reservation at @bungalowny because I am a fan of @vikaskhannagroup and I love his humility and warmth. I couldn’t get the reservation so I decided that I will try walking in and see if I can get to even sit at the bar. As I was leaving work, two of my colleagues said they would love to join. While I was glad for their company, I was also worried that it may be even more difficult to get in with three people. But as luck would have it, there was seating for three available at the bar and those bar chairs are super comfortable. We ordered a bunch of small plates and drinks. But best part was when the chef @vikaskhannagroup came to say hello - I told him how excited I am to be here and my sister is a super fan but probably sleeping in India, he immediately took my phone and asked for my sister’s name @theauravini and recorded a message for her. He is the warmest person and I can confirm the legends are true. The food, drinks, ambience, service, everything was amazing and I cannot recommend enough.
