Here’s a quick tip to play the Major Blues Scale! Plugging into my new @voxamplification Superbeetle really made want to play the blues. So I thought it would be fun to share a blues lesson played through this beautiful amp. How to play the Major Blues Scale in 3 Steps: 1. Play the Major Pentatonic Scale in any key & any shape/box (I’m using the C Major Pentatonic Scale in the G Shape box). 2. Find the b3 of the key. In the key of C Major the b3 is Eb. This is the “Blue Note” of the key. 3. Play the Major Pentatonic Scale box again, but this time with the b3s added in. This is now your Major Blues Scale!
