#$%@!! ARGH Grrrr !%! 🤬 Does this sound like you when you’ve been triggered? Have you experienced saying something you don’t even mean when you’re triggered only to regret it afterwards? If you can relate to this, I feel you and have been there before too. The next time you find yourself triggered, try taking a deep breath, pausing and then responding honestly sharing where you’re at. ✨ It may look like bringing up that you feel triggered. Or that you don’t know why exactly but you don’t feel great. Share what you need and would like such as ending the conversation or taking a break. Or if you don’t want to or can’t explain, simply state what you need. 👉 What do you normally do when you get triggered? Are you able to keep your cool? Or do you tend to explode? What do you say to other people when they trigger you? 💬 Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear more about how you handle triggers. ➡ Save this and follow @wholenesswellnessbar for more on having a healthy relationship with yourself and others, healing from pain and mental health tips. __________ Reminder: The purpose of these posts is to share information, tips and encouragement.
