Valebol, by Valebol is out today! I never thought I’d be in a synth pop duo, but here we are… I am so excited for you hear these songs that I made with @brownbabyjesus — this project was an adventurous songwriting outlet that started as fun and loose but quickly became something we cared deeply for. I fell in love with the clarinet sound on the Casio pictured and let myself write about dolphins, orange pulp, a breakup at a sushi restaurant, tiny green drinks, an instapot… etc. These songs, while seemingly surface level, hold a lot of meaning to me and capture a very specific time in my life. This record challenged me as a musician while still being outrageously groovy and fun.
