You asked and we delivered: The food truck is back open every weekend! ✨✨ Folklorists and historians believe that the chacabana- as it is known in the Dominican Republic- was first made in the city of Bani as a lighter, cooler take on the traditional military shirt. Today, it is popular in many cultures and its multiple pockets are often used as safekeeping for to-be-smoked cigars. “Chacabanas” was named as an homage to the Dominican and Cuban cultures owners Helen and Alex so dearly love. We are excited to partner with them every Friday and Saturday night from 6-12pm on our food truck! Look out for delicious Cuban sandwiches, yuca fries, empanadas, the best mojo aioli, and more!
