Lent my old copy of this to someone ages ago but can't remember who.
Cheap as fuck tho so I bought it again.
I figured I'd give this a re-read and finish it before HoD2 finishes. Then onto the book my old team got me when I left Leeds.

Honestly, I've given up with Children of Dune. It's not awful, it's just not grabbed me at all. I might go back to it later, but this just arrived and is the brand new today latest from a very good series of books I read the first two of earlier this year

Last time walking in to the place I've worked for 9 years. Very weird feeling.
As much as nobody actually enjoys working (and if you say you do you're fibbing, even if you don't hate your job, like I don't, you'd still rather be doing something else with the vast majority of your waking life), I've had a good spell here and been lucky enough to work with some great people, as well as a lot of understanding, flexible, patient, and helpful ones (otherwise I wouldn't have lasted 2 years, let alone 9, lol)
There's definitely stuff I'll miss about working here, but there's stuff I'm looking forward to not doing anymore as well (spending 90-120 minutes on buses every day with a privatised and unreliable public transport system, for example)
If I don't get to see anyone before I leave, message me and I might organise a night out or something next month (skint til payday and busy payday weekend)
See ya!
More non-fiction next. But not before I tell everyone how important a book I think Strong Female Character is. There's a reason I finished it so fast. Hard recommend.
This is about climate justice so another lightheaded chirpy one
