“Grow Dark”
The fourth part of the Eventide suite tries to capture the atmosphere as the last light fades and the stars begin to shine. The music comes from a song written and released in 2009 by David and James (bass) former band, BOSH on the EP The Gloaming Hour. Four of the former members of BOSH actually play on this recording, with Grant Howard providing Hammond organ and soft pad textures, and Matt Gainsford adding ambient guitar layers. The BOSH version is available to hear on all streaming platforms.

Available now on all streaming and download platforms, our new EP ‘Eventide’. A suite of music that soundtracks the transition from day to night, sunlight to darkness. Mostly recorded live at Real World Studios, with additional textures added by my old friends and former band mates Grant Howard and Matt Gainsford. Influences include John Martyn, Paul Simon, Van Morrison - alongside the main inspiration of late Talk Talk and Pink Floyd.
Also available on vinyl and CD at all good record stores and shops, online and on the high street.
