Alamere falls for Mother’s Day. Sam wanted beach waterfalls so we hiked 13 miles to make it happen. Highly recommended.

The boys and I pulled off something I’ve been dreaming of for quite some time. So grateful to my band and everyone involved in making this possible. Moment of Clarity live at a The Atomic Garden is up on YouTube. Please give it a watch and subscribe to our channel over there if you do that kind of thing. Link in bio! 📸 @heavy__rocks

TLDR: I am proud of my band and our new record SUNNE, please check it out and lmk what you think. Link in my bio I often refer to renewer as my bucket list band. Stylistically, this is a band I’ve always wanted to do. It is the first band I’ve ever been “band leader” or whatever you wanna call it. It’s the first band I’ve been the primary composer in. Every song on the new album started as a demo in my basement. It’s the first band I’ve ever played guitar in. It’s the first band in which I’ve composed strings. You get the idea. I just wanted to say how proud I am of my band and this record. To be clear, it would be nowhere without Robbie and Evan. The three of us took the demos and molded them together. Their collaboration and arranging talents made all these songs into the best versions they could be. Of course Robbie handled all the vocals composing, which is my fav part of the band. His abilities and style allow the potential and uniqueness of our sound to shine. Evan is the best songwriter I know and for him to give his time to this project has been an honor. AND It would also be nowhere without Morgan and Alfonso. 2 musicians I really look up to and admire. Masters of their craft. It’s a dream come true to have them on board with us now. Makes me really look forward to the future. Having the incredible support of Jimmy Transylvanian Recordings has meant the world to me. Having the support of Jake Kilgore on this project has meant the world to me. I’ve run into a lot of imposter syndrome during the last few years of doing this band. It’s hard to think of myself as an artist. A lot of people deal with this when creating, so I know I’m not alone. All of the support and positive feedback so far really makes me feel validated and for that I’m forever grateful. Here’s to more bucket list shit with my boys!

2023 was the most rewarding year of playing music in my life. 2024 is going to be even better. I’m very grateful. Thanks @photofromcam (pic 1) and @rypevideo (pic 2) for documenting. Pictures like these mean the world!

This weekend we celebrate @atomic_garden_east Congrats Jack on 20 years! Crazy to think about how long we’ve been working on stuff together. 4 full lengths, couple of EPs, a number of one off projects. Love you man! @sunvalleygunclub will play a few songs live for the first time in over 4 years. Very happy to be apart of this with the extended @ohlonesomeana family. Also extremely excited to see friends @neal_ps and @thealbertsquare perform among others. Gonna be a special weekend. See you there!

Throwback to June 25, 2008! Carry the Torch live in Dover, New Hampshire. We played with a band called The_Network from NH/RI that we absolutely loved and crossed paths with a few times on tour in different cities. They put on a such gnarly show. Also a bird shat on me during load in as evident in the first shot. 📸 @returntothepit

October 2017 - SVGC live mixing our 3rd full length "the water, the stars" at the old Atomic Garden. Still so proud of this record. 3rd vid is of @hardgirlsband at 1234go in Oakland. Jack, Evan and I went to see them during these mixing sessions. SVGC was supposed to play with them in Sac on this tour but their van died on the way to the gig. Fast forward 6 years and now I get to play with Morgan in RENEWER. Life is weird and cool!

Blessed up to this Arturia Keylab. Been spending most free moments I have these days demoing Renewer material. We are recording a full length in less than a month so it’s crunch time. I’ve used the midiman in the 2nd slide for years now and it’s probably 20 years old. I dropped it the other day and blew out the USB port so I had the excuse and my boy Greg B happened to be selling. Thanks for your service midiman. RIP. That Arturia nice tho, ngl
