Strawberry Moon recording session has come to an end 🥲. What a pure, joyous, and fun time I had playing some shows with @alexarosemusic and then getting to record on her new record with @thedeadtongues@dombillett@jeffreyleft and @alliblois at Betty’s Studio in North Carolina.
Alexa’s songs are the most incredible poetry magic heart exploding perfection and it was such a treat to sink in with some of the sweetest kindest funniest and most incredible musicians.
And that’s a wrap for Spring Time in the Rockies tour with Esme Patterson and Sean Hayes! This picture pretty much sums it up. What a sweet time with the sweetest buds. So many lilacs to huff, mountains to gasp at, jokes to giggle at, dancing to witness, amazing food to savor, Colorado friends to reunite with, and music music music.
I feel so lucky to get to do what I do and especially to play Esme’s songs with her and Jeremy and listen to Sean and John every night.

What a true joy and honor to get to open for and play with these unbelievable humans and musicians. I feel so inspired and learned so much from watching @alexarosemusic and @mattpondpa perform every night.
