Hi hey hello, we’re Casey & Melissa, a couple o’ gals that love to empower women to feel confident, empowered & special. I’m the photographer behind this account & discovered my love of making women feel beautiful back in 2018, shooting out of the back of my parents garage. I quickly realized that this was more than just making women feel good - it was desperately needed. Women are taught to criticize themselves from early on, although this is shifting greatly, there’s still a lot of work to be done and through the power of photography, makeup, tons of compliments, sharing in our stories, I hope to contribute to that change. Melissa is the hair & makeup stylist that I mainly work with for boudoir shoots. (I have a small roster of ladies I work with as well!) She’s amazing, offers so many words of wisdom while she helps bring out the work of art that is you. She does any requests, from natural, to glam, to pinup, to creative, literally anything, she will make it happen for you. The studio is based out of my apartment in Stouffville, ON. and you can come by, check out the space, meet Melissa & I, have a little consult with us before booking, so you can feel comfortable and safe within our space. We love to start off by showing you the space, getting to know, ask you some questions, and go from there. We start off the session with hair & makeup, which can take an hour to an hour and a half. We can chat, share stories, jokes, snacks & drinks. Or if you prefer to just chill & keep it quiet, we’re happy to do that too. After hair & makeup is completed, we then get you into position in one of the 5 setups in studio - starting with whichever you’re most comfortable with. I like to start with all clothes on, show you what you look like on camera and move on from there, following your lead. The photo shoot time can vary and take upwards of 2 hours to capture everything. I don’t like to rush things and will move at your pace. After we finish up, we say our goodbyes & then in 2 weeks, you’ll receive your digital album via Pic-Time, which has a variety of printing options.
