PBR me ASAP! What? Why is a microbrewery carrying PBR? Let me tell you a story about 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝘽𝙪𝙯𝙯 𝘽𝙤𝙢𝙗...
Partners Benjie, Bill, Curt, and Josh put in long hours throughout 2017 doing most of the build out of what would be become Buzz Bomb Brewing Co themselves. Everything from flooring, building out two brew rooms, making furniture, making lights, even the baseboard trim was built on-site, after hours when they'd finished their regular days work. Hard work like that calls for some cold beers...but if you know Buzz Bomb beer you know we make them strong and the last thing you need when you're running a table saw is a Barfight Brown (even though it's so good!). So our go to in those days was PBR and we drank a lot of it (along with coffee from Cafe Moxo!), so much in fact that we referred to it as "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝘽𝙪𝙯𝙯 𝘽𝙤𝙢𝙗".
Now for the first time, we can offer it on our menu too. So stop in, crack open a cold PBR, and let's toast to the hard work that made all this possible. Then after that, drink a Barfight Brown 😉

Pssst...wanna know a secret? If Seoul 4 Soul opening upstairs wasn't a big enough reveal for January how about this - Buzz Bomb will now be serving liquor and wine in addition to our great craft beer!
We are taking a phased approach and will start off with canned cocktails...then canned/single serve wine...then bottles of wine, liquor, and mixers last. The canned cocktails start RIGHT MEOW.
Stay tuned for more drink additions over the coming couple of months!
Just like with our own beer we will continue to provide a craft experience by focusing on Illinois and craft distilleries and wineries. With the canned options, we have more limited choices but as we move onto bottles of liquor and wine you can expect our focus to be local and craft.
Buzz Bomb Oktoberfest presented by Maribis returns with an all day festival featuring great beers, live music, food, fun, games, and kids activities! Come enjoy German beers from us and other local breweries! We are also debuting a special edition of our Hoppy Bukkake Mosaic shirt just for the festival today - LIMITED supplies!
Tickets are only $10 and he first 200 people through the gate will receive a special Buzz Bomb Oktoberfest beer koozie.

It’s also September…which means Oktoberfest! We will be debuting several other Oktoberfest styles and have invited other local breweries to come and bring their Oktoberfest beers.
