Join us in celebrating @kateri_sparrow_ !!re!!_039;s Community Gallery exhibition, “Nature Deficit: Act of Desperation“ with a reception on June 29 in the CAC’s Creativity Center. As the spring Artist in Resident, Sparrow encouraged the facilitation of loving connections between visitors and our mother earth. With a focus on nature and sustainable practice, the same themes arose, respect for our environment and botanical re-integration in everyday life. This reception recognizes Sparrow’s work and residency. Stop by the CAC's Community Gallery between 10:30 a.m. and noon to meet the artist, enjoy some light bites, and create your own work with repurposed materials from the Zero Waste Art Lab.

@whitedsepulchrerecords is proud to present the inaugural Talk Low Music Festival happening this September in Cincinnati. @talklowfest brings five days of experimental music from around the world to various venues across Downtown, Over-The-Rhine, and Northside. Talk Low’s mission is to provide unique contexts for deep listening and thoughtful engagement with music. Pulling from ambient, jazz, indie rock, electronic and all the genre shadings in between, Talk Low aims to bring world-class artists to Cincinnati who have never played here. The CAC is thrilled to host Talk Low Music Festival on Sept. 29, from 5-7 p.m. with artists Joy Guidry, Niecy Blues, and the Johnson-Montgomery-Prymek Trio. We’ll be highlighting these artists throughout the summer on social media. For ticket information visit talklowfest.cargo.site to build your festival pass and learn more about each performer.
