The deadline to apply for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's Andrew J. Brady Internship is SUN, JUL 7! Season-long paid positions are available in Marketing, Artistic Planning, Production, Education Programs, Digital Content, Philanthropy, Communications & Community Engagement. Hear from former interns who have acquired full-time positions with the CSO⬇️ Shuta Maeno - Assistant to the Music Director & Artistic Planning: "As a full-time employee in the department I interned in, I think the internship provided a great springboard in starting my professional career by teaching useful career skills as well as the opportunity to network and foster relationships with mentors and to learn from their experiences. "I learned so much about the season planning process from the initial planning of getting dates, starting to hire conductors and artists, and the considerations made when creating a program and setting the repertoire." D'Anté McNeal - Philanthropy Special Projects Coordinator: "My supervisor, mentor and department have such varied backgrounds that I was able to learn about the orchestra industry from professionals with different perspectives. The most important thing I learned though the program was the power of relationships and the importance of continuing education. The CSO is an innovative orchestra that perpetually seeks to share inspiration. That concept is shown throughout the organization, on and off-stage and I will carry the lessons I have learned the rest of my life." Come work with the largest arts organization in Cincinnati. Apply for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's Andrew J. Brady Internship program and work for the largest arts organization in Cincinnati! Applications for our season-long paid internship are due by July 7. Lauren Hall, a Digital Content Intern for the 2023/24 season, shared her thoughts about how the internship helped prepare her for future work experiences. "The program gave me a chance to get my feet wet for future working environments. I learned how to advocate for myself and others through the How-to-Adult presentations. I was also able to build connections within and outside of the CSO that can help me in future adventures." Lauren added, "I feel like this is very good for people who may not have much work experience but are preparing to join the work force. It can help people build confidence, build connections and learn how to navigate in a working environment." Apply today at bit.ly/CSO_Intern

Apply today for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's Andrew J. Brady Internship program! We asked past interns about their time working with the CSO. Isabella Prater, a Production intern for the 2023/24 season, cites her key responsibilities managing concerts as a memorable experience. "One highlight from my time in the program would have to be the opportunity to solo concert manage some of our Young People’s Concerts, Winstead Chamber Music Series and CSO Subscription concerts. This was something I worked towards throughout the season and felt very honored and trusted to actually get to do. Another highlight would have to be my recent attendance of the League of American Orchestras Conference in Houston – an amazing opportunity to learn from and connect with other orchestra’s team members from across the country." On the internship program, Isabella says, "this is a great program that I cannot recommend enough - the CSO administrative team and musicians are extremely welcoming and supportive!" Learn more about this season-long paid internship and apply by JUL 7 at cincinnatisymphony.org

We are saddened to learn of soprano Jodie Devos’ passing. We had the immense pleasure of working alongside Jodie for our collaborative production of Thomas’ Hamlet with Opéra Comique this past November, where her role as Ophélie was lauded. Jodie’s spirit, enthusiasm, warmth and commitment to her craft will always be remembered. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this time.
