It’s out!! GET TO KNOW THE #IMECSTATICSOCKS The I’m Ec(static) socks are a timeless house sock, knit cuff down, featuring a continuous cable design and a shadow wrap short row heel. After the heel, the cables are knit only on the top of the sock while the sole is knit in plain stockinette for a more comfortable wearing experience. I’m Ec(static) Socks are knit using a combination of sock yarn held with mohair to give it added coziness. You can find more detail about the pattern on my store and on ravelry (find the link to my store on my bio and on my stories) As per usual, it’s a pay what you want pattern so you can either get it for free or add a price to it. Guilt free but thank you so much to everyone who can and chooses to support my work because it’s literally how I pay my rent 🙏

The #WalkInTheParkSocks pattern is here (linked in my stories) ✨ Like most of my other patterns, this is a pay what you want type of deal so you can either get it for free pr add a price to support my work. Thank you very much to everyone who gets the pattern wether you pay for it or not, but specially if you do because you help me pay my bills 💖 GET TO KNOW THE WALK IN THE PARK SOCKS: The Walk In The Park socks are knit cuff down and have gingham colourwork all throughout. You are given a chart with the pattern repetition and you just have to knit the number of stitches that correspond to your size while continually working the colourwork pattern given in the chart. These feature a Shadow Wrap Short Row Heel for which you get both written and video instructions. Throughout the pattern you’ll find pictures that will guide on where you should be at that pattern stage. SIZING This pattern is available in 5 sizes which determine the width of your sock. The length is fully customizable and if you can’t measure the foot of the recipient you have a size guide to help you determine the length of your sock based on standard sizing. Ps: you might also spy a new logo 🤭 #knittingpattern #knittinginspiration #knittinginstagram #knittingsocks #sockknitting #ginghamsocks #freeknittingpattern

The #peachyundies pattern update is finally here!! Where do I begin when telling what’s changed with the pattern… the only thing I kept was the original fit which is a French cut with cheeky coverage at the back. It’s a full redraft with an expanded size range that goes from 20.3”-52.3” (51.6 cm-133cm) waist. And the instructions are a definite improvement. I’ve added tips on sewing with stretchy fabrics and elastics and speaking of elastic, with this pattern you learn how to accurately calculate how much elastic you need for the waist and leg openings based on the stretch percentage of the elastic you’ll be using. Comment the word “pattern” if you want me to send you the link! You can also find the pattern linked in my stories and bio. As most of my patterns, it’s a pay what you want pattern so as always I’d like to thank to everyone who supports me by adding a price to the patterns, couldn’t do this without you 🫶🏻

Idk who drilled into my brain that I’m only allowed to share stuff I’ve just finished so I’m sharing one of my most worn pieces, this sheer floral oversized shirt I’ve made last year in the summer. I LOVE an oversized shirt and if it’s hot I always wear just a tank top and skirt/shorts so this type of piece is so easy to just throw on. This beautiful sheer fabric (vid in the last slide) was a remnant that immediately caught my eye in my local fabric shop. I’m very much over florals with light backgrounds 🙅‍♀️ (unless it’s underwear as you might have noticed) but if I find one with a black background? Send it to me Rachel please. It’s mine and this one gives me vintage vibes so it fits well with all my other thrifted shirts. I sewed it using the #cynthiablouse (or #cynthiashirt ) pattern by @vikisews and I’ve made some permanent alterations to the pattern, like adding a vent to the side seams. Since it’s so oversized and long I like the vent to easily access pockets without having to bunch up the skirt. And I remember that I finished the sleeves with bias tape instead of a fold over hem because I didn’t have enough fabric. I’ve worn it loads and as you can see it looks brand new so I’d say that’s a testament to my incredible sewing abilities. Btw, if you followed along me making these cute shorts you can spot in these photos, I filmed a reel so you’ll be seeing them soon!

Just a post to show you some of the versions I’ve sewed of the #peachyundies 🫶🏻🍑 The pattern is a few days away from being released so don’t forget to set a reminder so that you can get notified as soon as it’s out! As most of my patterns, it’ll be a pay what you want pattern. Any sewing plans for these? Will you be going for stretch lace or picot edge or more of a sporty vibe with fold over elastic? I can’t wait to see what you make with the pattern ✨

I loveeeee mesh underwear and I swear it's not as hard of a fabric to work with as it might seem. Uh and stretch lace as the elastic? Yes!! It's so comfortable. I've been sewing ALL of my versions of the Peachy Undies in a regular sewing machine, no serger, just to show you that as long as your sewing machine has a zig zag stitch, you can make your own underwear as well. Do you have a favourite fabric/elastic combo? I also love a good pointelle as you might have noticed 💖 will show you a version of that tomorrow! #peachyundies

We finally have a date after loads of procrastinating. The Peachy Undies Pattern Update is coming next week on the 28th so mark your calendars 🐸 Until then I'll be showing you different versions of these so that you can get inspired. First, I'll start by sharing with you my favourite update, the elastic calculations. Personally, I never liked to give a set measurement for elastic in patterns because all elastics have different stretch percentages, and that will definitely affect the outcome, especially in such sensitive areas as the bikini line. Sooo I've added a way for you to calculate how much elastic you need based on the stretch of the elastic you're using. The pattern comes with a table where you can find the opening measurements for each size and a formula. Once you get your hands on the pattern you'll see how easy it is to calculate and hopefully it'll be beneficial when making other garments as well in case you don't already know how to make this calculation! Really hope you enjoy this update which is basically a whole new pattern at this point. I'm really proud of it 💗

I’m making a granny square blanket for myself and since I had to plan it out, thought I’d share it with you in case anyone wants to join me. I have loads of fingering yarn that’s half finished so I think this will be a great way to use it up in a way that’ll be useful in my day to day. This will be my late night project when I don’t want to think too much and just watch something on the tv as I do it. So far I have 15 colour granny squares and I’ve been blocking them as I go but I’m thinking of putting the laser cutting machine to good use to make a blocking board for all of these. wish me luck because I have a long way to go! Maybe I’ll have a blanket for next winter 🤷‍♀️ Save it if you want to make one too 🫶🏻

I love knitting basics and being able to wear stuff i make on the daily. This tee will work with literaly everything i already wear so that obviously means i need to make more in other colours. If you watch my stories you saw the blue melted plastic fiasco. If you can’t spot it here we’ll both forget about it. How do you feel about knitting basics? I think we have a tendency to wanting to make something special and different since we’re spending so much time on our craft but lately i just want well fitted basics. Quick project for my sister. She wanted a shrug to wear to a wedding and here it is. She'll be wearing it with a satin dress so it'll look really good! This is just a rectangle. Took the measurements for the arms and back and just joined where the sleeves would be. Super easy and I think I'll be making one for myself as well but in a more summery yarn option. This was knit on a standard bed 4 mm with brushed alpaca silk by @dropsdesign

I present you my latest make 🧚 and now I need it in multiple colours. This piece was machine knit (obviously. Can you imagine hand knitting this?) with a mohair with elastane that shrinks down once it’s steam blocked. It’s super soft and comfortable to wear since it has that elastane that adapts beautifully to the body. I’m really proud of my sleeve shaping, it’s something that I’ve perfected and am always excited to do on a project. And the little bow buttons? 🥹
