(to really feel it, stop what you’re doing and watch all 2 minutes and twenty five seconds)
Whether it be a foreign accent or Supergoop!’s new moisturizer (coming soon), lay it on thick. 🧴

I’ve struggled with the words to express my feelings and mix of emotions. In a word, running the @nycmarathon was unforgettable – 26.2 miles of persistence, pain, mental strength, endurance, even more pain and accomplishment.
I lost control of my legs around mile 18 and cramped up through mile 20, but somehow, somewhere I crossed that finish line. At the end, it’s undoubtably will over resources but the adrenaline you get from running through the streets of NEW YORK is unlike anything else. Yesterday was my first marathon, but it won’t be my last.
🟧 Thank you to my family and friends who cheered me on (in the streets & virtually). Your unwavering support pulled me through when I needed it the most.
🟧 Thank you to the crowds who held it down in every borough.
🟧 Thank you to all the volunteers who supported 50,000 runners pre, during and post race – you’re the real heroes.
🟧 Thank you to everyone who donated and helped me surpass my fundraising goal for children in need at Boston Children’s Hospital. Together, we raised $4,100.
P.S. Don’t let fear hold you back. The view from other side is spectacular!
Because it’s a marathon, not a sprint – in polka dots, of course. ⚫
On behalf of the Boston Children’s Hospital, I am training for the 2023 @nycmarathon and have joined the Miles for Miracles team. Every dollar I raise funds breakthrough research, family supports, and vital services not covered by insurance through the hospital’s Every Child Fund.
