Introducing Nerdy, your AI learning app that expands as you educate - transforming how the kids learn. Everything except the brand name was designed with infinite scale. We developed, named, storied and introduced Linel, a doodle-inspired line work character that acts as your all knowing, and ever changing study buddy. Personalized Learning in over 3,000 subjects needs a deep visual library of designs and discovery. More to come Nerds.

School is out Nerds*, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be learning! As deep and as wide as you can go, new work for a new brand disrupting the education game. So much more to share over the next couple of days. *Made by US. Not AI.

What makes you successful? Who knows... It’s equally personal and professional – that brain game between internal opinion and external optics. I chatted with Canvas Rebel about my thoughts on the subject, and why I feel like defining success is a moving metric. Link in Stories - Austin

For the Royal Ones. Literally. There’s a new custom Studio Cigar blended specifically for The Prince of _____, but your design baddies had to havies and what’s to come is one of our favorite cigars, period. Poetically and purposefully named, The Prince of Durham, more details and full release sharing shortly 😚💨

I miss the old Durham, straight from the ‘Cov Durham Chop up the soul Durham, set on his goals Durham - Thankful for everything that worked, tried, failed, and fumbled through. I dropped out of design school and definitely don’t have an MBA in anything worth a damn, but I do know The Decade of Durham only happens because I’m in the business of people, not for one dude who had a dream to open a design studio over 10 years ago. Thanks for the love internet. Too much to talk and sharing something longer soon. Looking forward to seeing where the next X takes us. Team D Over Everything. -Austin

Hittin’ two homers in one day. New work with stats and style for the oldest team in @mlb , the @reds . We designed a brand new package of brand assets and video murals in the Scouts Club, an upscale club environment catered to their fans who love a deeper dive into the game. Let us cover the tab and take you out to the ball game internet. We’ll show you the show while you root for the home team.

The Old has Gone and The New has Come (IYKYK). One week from today, the studio turns 10 - ‘A Decade of Durham’. There’s a lot of words and even more feelings to describe what Durham was, is, and will be – good, bad, beautiful, and disastrous. Everything and nothing has changed since blindly building the business from megabus rides, to hotel rooms, to a dining room table, to a small side office in my father-in-laws church, to the first 750sf ‘street studio’, then to the 16,000sf Madison Ave building we’re currently in now. But that’s just space to fill an interior design passion, not the people that make Durham as purposeful and passionate as it is. As we approach 10, what do you want to see more of, share more of, say more of? At end of the day, the only reason The D is a decade is because of people, not projects, and we’re grateful to have plenty of both, personally and professionally. So let’s open up this circle pit of Work/Vice Balance. Over the next few we’ll share the who, what, why, and otherwise of a Studio named Durham because every once and awhile, it’s cool to look in the rear view to see where you’ve come from, to remind you of where you’re going. - Austin 🙏🏻
