A perfect summer day on Main Street!!!

✨G¡VEAWAY OPPORTUNITY✨ I bought my first camera over 8 years ago, and although I’ve loved everything I’ve shot in one way or another, I feel like I am finally starting to settle into my niche as a photographer. I have the privilege of working with so many incredible small businesses through @mainstreetshopstudio - most of them being woman-owned, just like ours. I become more passionate about small businesses every single day, especially ones run by women, and I’d like to think that I have some of the knowledge, skill, and personal experience to help them succeed. With that being said, I am g i v i n g a w a y one hour-long branding session to one woman-owned business. It could be used for whatever you need or want: portraits of yourself, product shots, photos of your space, etc. And this could be for a business in any field, too! An artist, musician, craftswoman, shop owner, vintage curator, chef, personal trainer, tattoo artist, makeup artist, nail technician, or something else! June 1st, 2024 — the union of Sarina & Andrew and their families 🖤 and what a b e a u t i f u l union it was! I can say with 100% certainty that these two, & the people that surrounded them on their wedding day, were some of the most kind, humble, faithful, & loving people that I have ever had the honor of sharing a room with. Sarina — holy sh*t, as cliche as it sounds, her beauty, in AND out, was absolutely breathtaking & Andrew — I can totally understand how he scored such a smoke show!!! The most kind & gentle spirit, accompanied by the most killer dance moves😉 Both of them surrounded by the most loving & supportive friends & family. I truly adored documenting this day, and I know that their marriage will be even more beautiful. Thank you so much for having me, you two!

An [above] average Friday night at MOTR

It was such an honor to be on the set of the first day of production for @complimentstothechefshow and snap some BTS flicks for the whole crew✨ Chef @jbindakitchen was such an inspiration in so many ways - from her commitment to honoring family roots & heritage in her cooking, to her experience & success as a woman in a competitive, male-dominated industry, to her encouraging sentiment that cooking doesn’t have to be intimidating! I was so thankful to be in the room with her as she shared such impactful wisdom, both from a personal & professional perspective. And of course, @mindbodysoell continues to amaze me with his ability to harness such an incredible vision, bring it to life with the perfect team of talented individuals, and all the while make every single person in the room feel comfortable, taken care of, and excited to be there. Needless to say, I can’t wait to watch this show when it’s finally finished and ready to air! In the meantime, I’m definitely going to keep enjoying all of the behind the scenes & everything in between❤️‍🔥

Did you happen to notice that I finallyyy changed my profile picture? It’s been yearsss since I’ve updated it, and a lot has changed since then. It’s also been a while since I’ve shared a photo of myself + talked about myself on my feed in general! Thanks to everything going on with @mainstreetshopstudio - including the spring market we just hosted on Sunday - I’ve met a lot of new people + made a ton of new connections these past few months. I’ve also learned a lot about myself, my role in the community, and how the puzzle pieces of all my passions and projects can start to fit together a little better. I am continuing to book a limited amount of weddings, but I am scaling back just a smidge, so that I can continue to devote plenty of attention to those couples as well as my shop. In terms of @mainstreetshopstudio - I have been getting back into some portrait + branding photography for the sake of promoting our shop + the other small businesses within it, and I am absolutely falling back in love with it. I love capturing the people behind such cool businesses, as well as the unique products they work so hard to put out into the world. So with that being said, if you are an artist or small business owner who needs fresh photos, whether of your products, your space, yourself, etc. please reach out to me! I’d love to chat. We are beyonddd humbled and honored to play a small role in the community that means the world to us. And when we say community, we mean a lot of things… The Main Street community. The Over-the-Rhine community. The Cincinnati community. The artist community. The small business community. The women-owned business community. Just to name a few. We have gotten a lot of positive feedback about how much marketing, promotion, and communication we did about Market on Main. There’s a reason why, and it’s because we CARE. We care SO fucking much about our community and the incredible people we’ve gotten to know through our little business on Main Street. We always want our vendors to do well, and we want our customers & visitors to experience just how much talent and kindness is in this city of ours. We hope you had fun yesterday, because we did. And we want to shout a huuuge “thank you” from the rooftops, to everyone involved in Market on Main… from our friends at the @woodwardtheater to the guys at @drinkgaragebeer who took a chance on us, to our hand-picked vendors, to everyone who walked through those doors yesterday, to our extremely supportive partners & families, and everyone in between.
