🎸✨ At the start of the year, I produced a small guitar spec commercial. The original idea came from me wanting to randomly mount a camera to an object to play around with. Any object really, but decided to run with a guitar and build a small concept around that. This spec piece features the incredibly talented @ell.ejackson 🌟🎶 In this project, we wanted to capture how playing a Fender Guitar can transform any setting into a Even if you're just in a bed room. This was a super quick, low-budget production, but the potential to expand into a full series of immersive visuals could be cool. freedom has many forms. freedom a week ago was the smell of a two-person, half-dome tent lightly rained on last fall, laid to dry for as long as i could muster the patience, folded into thirds, rolled up and stored for the winter then reborn into early june. it was the luxury of quietness except for the sounds of owls, cicadas, trickles of tiny waterfalls, wind gusts, and the coffee percolator bubbling in the morning. it was standing in awe of the glacial phenomenon known as the mississppi and wisconsin rivers, hieroglyphs that the first people on this land etched into dolomite, shale and sandstone, and so fucking many cicadas. did i consider throwing my phone in the river and never leaving wyalusing state park? i did. did i wonder if emojis are the hieroglyphs of today? i still do. i’m grateful for the few days of stillness and chance to explore beautiful bits of this beautiful place (and a small part of iowa). get out there 🌿
