I was recently reading "Why has nobody told me before" by Dr. Julie Smith and a chapter that talked about emotions in specific addressed how few emotions are acceptable by the society which are termed as the "positive emotions" and the others are "negative emotions" which aren't really desirable and their expression is often suppressed and condemned by the society.
In reality, emotions are just emotions. And they all deserve a healthy expression or else they'll just project themselves in other forms. Mark Manson in his book "The subtle art of not giving an F**k" briefly touched upon this. Jealousy or Helplessness often manifests itself in the form of anger (passive). Anger sometimes is manifested in the form of disgust or contemplation.
It also reminds me of the movie "Dear Zindagi" where the therapist Sharukh Khan tell how when an individual is taught to suppress their emotions, they end up feeling less and less like themselves as if there's a guard that they've put on.
Well all emotions are meant to be felt even the hard ones. They're all valid. Embrace Psyche also has the similar theme of accepting all that we are and embracing your psyche.
Embrace your psyche,
Embrace all that you are!
