Announcing Select Pre-Parties for World’s Largest Karaoke! A handful of karaoke nights around the city to get you accustomed and prepared before getting up on that big stage. Greetings everyone!!!! Fuckin’ shit am I right? We have a bevy of fun live shows this week once again. Wow. The fun never ever stops over here at EB HQ. It’s invigorating and exhausting all at the same time so it just kind of balances out in a really chill, cool way.
We’ll be closed on the 4th of July and throwin’ a bunch of shit on the grill, amidst the fact that this country has really gone to hell in a hand basket. Like what the hell is going on out there? Jesus Christ.
Anyway, summer in the city. Let’s enjoy music and friends and make some memories and laugh and cry and shake our cute lil behinds. C’mon.
RECAP - June 8, 2024 - Empty Bottle Presents Beyond the Gate featuring Kim Gordon w/ Irreversible Entanglements & Drew McDowall at Bohemian National Cemetery
Earlier this month on a frigid, rainy June evening, we welcomed the iconic Kim Gordon to the Bohemian National Cemetery as part of our Beyond the Gate series. It was, in a word, phenomenal. Kim Gordon for President. Listen to her new record The Collective if you have not. A huge round of applause to all of you who fared the weather, our amazing staff and vendors, and of course the artists for their incredible performances. Shout out to Bells Brewery and Visitor. And Derrick Alexander (@goodhaus ) for these most excellent photos.
Also, beginning today we’ll have Beyond the Gate elemental merchandise available at the bar. BTG Nalgene Water Bottles (water) and BTG Lighters (fire) are now available for purchase, c’mon now.

We’ve heard your suggestions, thoughts and prayers regarding getting a tattoo on the stage of The Empty Bottle, and we’re here to answer the call: this Sunday, June 30th at the brand new Oddball Market, we’ll have Decoraters Tattoo under the bright lights and haze tattin’ y’all up. This is a first in Bottle history.
Aside from getting a sick ass tat, we’ll have a lovely variety of incredible vendors from all over the city: handcrafted jewelry from @colungajewlery , ceramics from @chloeperkis , stained glass from Fragile Solids, vintage furniture and fun things for your home from @bigmikesvintage and so much more cool shit. Yoooooo are you ready for Sir Woman next Thursday, June 27? We’re not sure if you are. Let’s get y’all up to speed.
Sir Woman hails from the great land of Austin, Texas and began as a solo vehicle for Wild Child vocalist Kelsey Wilson. They garnered quick attention and acclaim with their rollin’ brand of funk and soul. There’s an effortless gold-tinged warmth that emanates from their recordings that makes you feel all nice-like. NPR proclaimed that Wilson’s “golden pipes ease you back into a fluffy pillow of serenity and bliss” and we can’t help but smash that agree button.
