It’s been quite a ride since the day we showed up on Mahim Beach in 2017 with only a pair of rubber gloves, determined to find the clear beach beneath all the strewn garbage.
The overwhelming response from the citizens of Mumbai and beyond who joined this movement weekend after weekend, made it possible for us to take on the gigantic task of clearing over 1000 tonnes of waste from the beach. The community, love and support we have seen over the years is so heartwarming and a testament to how the power to make a difference lies within each one of us. Embodying the change that you want to see is infectious and can bring about ripples that reach far and wide.
Together we can truly move mountains (and clean beaches!) 🌻

Goa is a dream destination for many - to buy land, build a house surrounded by nature, and visit during vacations or live there permanently. We spoke to architects and interior designers in Goa who shared their expert guidance on how to build a home in the coastal state.
“Most of us come here because we love nature, the trees and the relaxed culture,” says product designer and citizen activist Reboni Saha (@rebonisaha ), who arrived in the 1990s, bought a slim plot of land in the mid-2000s and began building a home around 2014. Local architect Golda Pereira (@goldapereira_design ) believes in functionality and fluid movement in Goan homes, to make the most of the weather and the space available.
