Monday, April 11 ☀️☀️ Though Twen got their start in Boston’s DIY scene in 2016, their sound was less rough-edged indie or punk and more hard-edged pop with jangly tendencies. Fueled by an irrational urge to craft songs with no lyrics, the 4-piece rock-band toured America & Canada for 3 years with no recorded music, except for a live-demo recorded from their first show in a Boston basement; selling thousands of their hand-made, upcycled shirts along the way. After moving to Nashville in 2017 and landing a rosy record deal with FrenchKiss Records, the band released their debut LP Awestruck in 2019. 💫 With The Dead Bolts + Rat Tally 💫 🎟 tickets are available 🎟

3/20 ✨💋 We’re proud to present The Make Out Party Film “An Evening of Aural Intercourse”: A psychedelic concert film about the euphoric experience of a first kiss. THAT first kiss. The one that makes your knees shake, your palms sweaty, and tickles your stomach hungry to smell the fragrant breath again. Featuring Make Out All Stars, recorded live at the Irish American Heritage Center Ballroom on February 15, 2020. Special guests include Kristin Johnston, Gabriel Wallace, Bindu Poroori, David E. Smith, Sharon Lanza, Bobby Conn, Monica Bou Bou, and Marc Ruger. The Make-Out Party is an annual event celebrating LOVE for its own sake, transforming Chicago’s Hideout Inn into a cozy love nest to inspire the tickle one feels upon receiving a “first kiss”.  The music moves from Herb Alpert inspired arrangements, dirty blues ballads, 70’s soul, 80’s rock anthems, classic film scores, frenetic dance numbers, transcendent “eastern” and “western” melodies, to unknown originals; creating an evening of performances that are as varied as there are kinds of kisses, unified by one central theme - Love is Love.
