I’ve been doing a lot of private shows with my son Shane Reilly -that in itself has been an unexpected joy that has now become a part of my performing routine-like all performances with my great band or alone -I could never take any of these opportunities to commune with humans for granted. What hospitible hosts we had in the Upper Mississippi River Valley the other night- a home designed for musicians to entertain an audience that loves songs, respects artists and that welcomed my son and his songs. I’m excited to return to The Parkway Theater in Minneapolis for The Twin Cities Premiere of Don’t Turn Your Back on Friday Night on August 12! I’ve dreamed of tossing rubber chickens at the brilliant @realsvengoolie since he took to the air 45 years ago. My bandmate Pie-Eyed Pete shared the same lofty dream and today our dreams came true. Finally the hard work paid off! Thanks to @realsvengoolie & @mikeschmiedeler and @metvnetwork !
