The Sundance Kid… I’ve never met a dog more perfectly named.. this boy loved a sunny day, despised the rainy ones and was the best damn dog dancer I’ve ever seen. Not to mention his persona is a western outlaw but as he got older as I knew him, he was just the sweetest most charming old cowboy. A little mischief here and there. But it was always charmingly done of course.
He was an extremely special disco cowboy that stole my heart immediately, but also every single person he met.
He had that energy about him. He was just so damn cool… everyone wanted to be his friend.
I was the lucky one to be his mom. Our morning and nightly dance parties together were a sight to be seen. He knew how much I love disco and boy could he throw it down on the dance floor. It never got old and gave me the biggest joy every single day.
The best big brother mentor… I’m so grateful we got Ash for him to have more purpose during his last 6 months. Such a precious relationship. Ash will miss you forever buddy.
Sundance had such a large presence in our home. Always puddled on the floor somewhere where you had to step over him or pitter pattering around the house or dancing. He was the center and heart of our home. It feels so so empty and lonely without him. 💔

Loosing my best friend suddenly shook my world and being able to take her and Alex on a desert road trip prior is by far the highlight of the year for me. 🏜️🧡

We rescued this lil one 3 weeks ago.. he came to us with a few ailments and was a sick boy…after many vet visits and a lot of fear and stress…finally, he is out and is healthy and thriving being a part of the full family. Sundance is his idol and I don’t blame him, he’s all of ours too.
