Big congratulations to my friend @blakeallenpresents on his Carnegie Hall debut on Tuesday night! He conducted a concert of his original compositions, and they were wonderful! Yay Blake! !!
I had a great visit with my sister Maren and her fam in Pittsburgh. Alice came out for the soundcheck for the @randyrainbow show on Sunday, and was an essential part of the Quality Control process on the boas and tulle. She also tested the drums (they work!), and wore her pink glasses to school the next day. Lil’ baby Layla is very cute and very fun at 19 months. She makes a convincing Harry Potter, and loves to dance. We dropped Alice at Dance class and went to the park with Layla and Zhao, then had pizza once Alice got home. What a great day!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
My other sister @justinv_312 and I both signed the same wall in San Antonio, but on different tours and a few years apart. SA is where Justin visited me on tour and saw me play CHICAGO for the first time. We found our signatures before our show with @randyrainbow there on Sunday. I gotta say SA has some of the best backstage-wall-tags out of any theater I’ve been to, and I enjoyed walking around during the downtime and reflecting on how the tone of the show affects the style of autographs. #cellblessed
