We have a fabulous, music-filled weekend planned for you! We will be closed to celebrate on Thursday the 4th, then we have 3 fun days of music planned. Friday our ‘house band’ Mike, Jen, & @jamesnorrisofficial are playing. They’re super fun. 6-8pm. And @feast_in_the_burg will be there with delicious food offerings from 5-9pm! Saturday we have a real treat! Our new friend Murphy @blindboymusic , American Idol fan favorite, amazing singer-songwriter, and all-around great guy will be playing 6-8pm. Sunday we have a very special ticketed fundraising event for the charity @pwpservicedogs supporting our dear friend Hope Kittel and her service dog Neeko! This is a Sips N’ Songs event arranged by MKE singer-songwriter and good friend @hannasimonemusic , it will showcase 8 singer-songwriters in the round who will each perform their songs and share stories, the event will end with a special acoustic performance by Milwaukee band Alley Eyes. A talented singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland, Murphy is a songsmith with a unique story that has sent him on a journey in life that only few have experienced. For the past 8 years, Murphy has traveled across our nation playing his music to all who would stop and listen. From New Orleans to Santa Barbara, New York to LA, Murphy makes his living playing his distinctive style of folk, soul, rock and roll on the streets of America. After moving to Seattle in 2020, Murphy auditioned for “American Idol” where he became a fan favorite following the performance of his original song “The Painted Man.” Fans of the show cried out at his departure, so much so that it led to him performing in the show’s 2021 finale. “Commanding the audition room with his distinctive voice and style, Murphy delivers a performance that is unique, inspiring and positively original.
