“The Whiskey Collective Charity Bottle Raffle 🥃🦴”
We are excited to be hosting our 4th raffle benefiting local animal rescues, Laila’s Legacy & Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland.
We have been saving a selection of allocated and limited-release whiskies to raise money for local rescues in need. Each bottle or set is its own raffle for $5 and you can win the right to purchase that bottle at retail. Since each bottle has its own raffle, it may be possible for the same person to win more than one time. Each $5 raffle ticket is one drawing entry and there is no limit on the number of entries you can submit—after all, the goal is to help as many dogs and cats in need as possible! If you would like to donate without entering the raffle, just click on the $5 donation tab.
100% of the raffle ticket proceeds will be used to benefit these rescues and the animals in need.

The raffle is live now and closes at 9:00 PM on July 31st. Winners will be drawn on Monday, August 5th, and will stream live on Facebook & Instagram.

While it's pride month, it's also PTSD Awareness Month. One thing I take seriously is mental health since I've lost too many friends and colleagues to suicide. In fact, this week, another Coastie left us far too soon after losing his battle with his own mental health. As for myself, I have gotten a referral for therapy to address things that have been on my mind for a long time. You never know the battle that's going on inside of even the most resilient seeming person. Make sure you take care of yourself as well as your people.

I guess we'll call it Single Barrel Saturday! This is the first New Riff store pick I've had, and I can say for sure it's significantly better than their "regular" single barrel offerings. New Riff uses a high rye mash bill (30% rye), and I haven't been able to pick that up in other bottles, but the rye is really prominent in this barrel pick. If I tasted this blind, I would absolutely think this was a rye whiskey. Cheers! 🥃
