🎞️ Tomorrow, 4/30- Join us for an all ages screening of the Out There series showcase. This screening features a collection of live performance videos from Out There’s 2023 season, including artists from Milwaukee and around the Midwest. Performance locations include Doctors Park, Havenwoods State Forest, Estabrook Park, and Wildcat Mountain State Park. The screening also serves as a fundraising effort for Out There’s upcoming 2024 season.

Out There is excited to present a workshop and performance for Lynden Sculpture Garden’s 12th Winter Carnival this Saturday jan 27th. At 1pm John and Elise will begin with a soundwalk, exploring the sonic environment on the Lynden grounds. The group may periodically stop to focus on specific “soundmarks” and engage in brief meditative exercises along the way. Milwaukee-based poet and leatherworker Annie Grizzle will follow up with a brief writing workshop (group sharing, collaborative writing) to reflect on the soundwalk experience. Out There will finish with a performance by Milwaukee musician Joe Kirschling, who creates hypnotic and textural electronic dance music under the name Ontonomy.
The soundwalk begins at 1pm, but Winter Carnival programming starts at 10am! There will also be interactive film, visual and textual art by Paul Drueke, Olivia Hix, Carolann Grzybowski, Sindie Ho, Natalie Alicia, and even more makers and artists.
