Not only were the shows in UR amazing, but I also had my very specific n far-fetched bday wish come true while there!!! @salvador_cresta has become my fave lyricist & video artist in the past year.: love every single thing he’s done! I saw his v moody video for ‘35 años’ (2nd vid clip) on my 35th bday last Feb. n was like ahhh I want to go to S. America soo bad n collab w this guy!! But also play a show there! But also use my savings to move back to LA n finally record w Ariel!!! Did not think it could all be done but somehow.. it all did!!! The best part is that Salvador coming from AR to UR was a surprise by @manuelcicarello and us filming a music video there for a song I’m working on w Ariel was totally spontaneous!!! It’s going to be the SHIT. Ty again soo much to Manuel for making this all happen & bringing these 4 geniuses in 2nd pic together (Salvador also brought Fernando who helps him w the drawings in these vids & he’s awesome too!)!!! Go down the Salvador rabbit hole yall it does not disappoint!! Esp the ‘Dedicated to Boris Karloff’ series ;)))

Some BTS I never posted from the big tour. SOO grateful we get to do 2 more shows w them this weekend & in S. America where it’s alllways been my dream to play!!! San. 18 & Dom. 19!! We have $1 each in our accounts now lol but it was too sad the guys had to go back home to their jobs so we couldn’t play the final show of the tour which was LA that I’ve missed so much n feel soo lucky to have found an affordable place in!!! TN is the homecoming show from Ariel’s 1st tour back since the media framed & squandered him that we were so honored to have opened for. Just about all the loveliest people I know in LA has been affected by this, many having to chose between continuing to be his friend or their livelihoods. Some were ostracized, like him, regardless of whether they were still hanging out or not. I keep running into people who took refuge on Ariel’s couch during their darkest days like me and we all have such gratitude for him listening to us when no one else would and being a real friend. Like all my biggest weirdo friends, he is really open to every perspective and seems to gravitate towards the most unique ones. And like I’ve said from the beginning, this really smells like the beginnings of a bloody war to me and I really think we need to chill tf out. He’s given us more good songs than anyone else I know and performs his ass off every night regardless of how many people are there pretty much nonstop for the last 2 decades. I really think the media just saw him as an unruly ant doing his own thing outside the marching line that needed to be squashed and that scares me. I can’t wait to dance against the fear tonight. In this time of such tension I want to also give a shoutout to my parents who have completely different views as me but also let me crash on their couch when I’m in need. I was really upset with my dad for supporting Trump since he is a Catholic Deacon whose job is literally to be a moral example to others, but alas I still love him and don’t think he should be squandered in this war or any. #arielpink
