Join us at 5 pm Saturday, July 13, in the biergarten for Paris Night with live music by @underparisskiesband and French-inspired food by Chef's Table Food Truck. Event is free and open to the public. 🌿Many of you may already know Katie. She was one of our very first hires, having been with us from the beginning. She is incredibly dedicated and passionate and has a keen sense of observation. 🌿Meet Katie: 👉How long have you worked for Peter’s Biergarten: Since opening in Aug. 2021. 👉Most excited for event this season: The Cajun Dance and Seafood Boil! I’m definitely gonna get my hands on some of that action and laissez le bon temps rouler! 👉Favorite thing about the Biergarten: That it’s family friendly, all ages. It’s a great place to meet for small gatherings as you can bring in food from anywhere or even bring your own picnic from home. Clean up is easier than hosting at your house and the atmosphere can’t be beat. 👉Favorite downtown restaurant: @heirloomseasonalbistro . The owners are passionate about what they’re doing, support local farmers/producers and always serve up a delicious meal. I love to see their food brought into the garden. 👉Something interesting about yourself: Katie is a local farmer who grows fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs just outside of Winona. After two decades of selling her produce locally at the farmers market, she now has a roadside farmstand where customers can purchase homegrown goodies throughout the season. Check it out: @freitagfamilyfarmstand Say hi next time you see her and thank her for her commitment to making the Biergarten a hot spot in downtown Winona🍻
